Exide Technologies Warehouse Associate in Kansas City, Kansas
The Warehouse Associate receives, unpacks, checks, ships, and stores products in the Distribution Center.
Prepare batteries and chargers for shipment by operating a forklift and an electric stretch wrapper on a regular basis.
Maintain stock inventory.
Receive incoming inventory from the factory.
Move batteries, secure batteries to pallet, check pallets for accuracy, and load pallets onto trucks.
Perform simple math calculations such as counting product and be capable of writing addresses for form filing.
Work in a safe manner and comply with all safety and health policies.
Maintain a clean and orderly work area.
Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Create packing list, bill of ladings, and load diagrams
Install accessories to batteries.
Education, Experience, Certifications:
High school diploma or GED equivalent
One to three years previous warehouse experience preferred
Basic computer experience with Microsoft Windows environment a plus
Sit Down and/or Stand Up Forklift Certification

While performing the duties of this job, individual is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; reach with hands and arms and talk or hear. Individual is occasionally required to sit; climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
Ability to regularly lift a minimum 30lbs on a daily basis and 51 to 70lbs with assistance of equipment on a daily to weekly basis.
Regular use of safety glasses.
