Overview
Stryten Energy, a new company name with a long history in the Niagara Falls, NY area, manufactures proprietary and custom injection molding products serving the industrial lead battery, automotive and consumer markets. Stryten Energy is expanding battery poly manufacturing and recycling output to help solve industry-wide supply constraints.
A Tool & Die Specialist is responsible to provide leadership for tool-related projects and repairs, coordinating the day-to-day operation of a Tool Shop, physically repairing both mold and equipment tool-related problems, and coordinating mold preventative Maintenance Program(s).
The schedule is Monday-Friday, 7:00 am to 4:30 pm
The pay rate is $32.50.

Responsibilities
Operates lathes, knee mills, surface grinders, drills, and other machine shop equipment as needed.
Candidates with TIG welding skills are a plus. Performs other related tasks as required.
Additionally, follows all safety rules, wears all required personal protective equipment and keeps work areas clean.
Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
Qualified Journeyman Toolmaker or trade school with 5 to 10 years experience.
General verbal, written and math skills.
Ability to operate machine tools.
Knowledge of injection mold construction.
Ability to lift 50 lbs. frequently.
Successfully complete a Forklift Driver Training Program.
Successfully complete a Lockout/Tagout Training Program.
Must be self-motivated and able to handle a large workload
Must be available for overtime
